Security Notification Update: Apache Log4j Vulnerability

Elavon is actively monitoring and responding to the recently reported Apache Log4j2 vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228). Elavon’s Information Security team works closely with industry and federal authorities to monitor and analyze new vulnerability threats as they surface to ensure the soundness and integrity of our systems. Protecting the safety and security of our customers’ private information and their payment and financial data is our highest priority.

Elavon has taken steps to protect our customers while working to fully remediate any vulnerability within our systems according to our patch mitigation plan. At our security advisory page (http://join.paymentstart.com/securityalert), we’ve provided actions that you may need to take to help you mitigate the issue on your end, based on the solution you use.
